Oil leaks can sometimes be a bit tough to track down because of oil getting all over the engine.  I've had leaky valve cover gaskets, the oil filler cap (seem like the plastic caps have their weakness due to design) and then there is the disty base "O" ring and that was my latest leak.  The "O" ring was hard as a rock.  I happen to get a hold of an all metal oil filler cap that put an end of that leaky area.  It's nice to have a clean engine.

Did you get an OEM ring or one from "Help!"?

I had one from an engine I pulled apart that happened to be just like new, however next time I go to Hawks' I'll get a couple of OEM's just to have around.

Help! has one that works, but it really does not fit.  It's too thick so it creates a gap.  I keep around an OEM one from a Zuk vender.

I work in the oil industry, so I feel that a little leak is just job security  Peace

just kidding, mine is starting to leak from the front seal I guess, oil is coming up from around the belt drive. but it is not bad, just shows on the white hood.

Redbeard, Your still running a 1.3 L right? On mine I replaced the crank seal but the leak persisted, turns out the cam seal was leaking too. When you go to buy a crank seal, they will want sell you a "kit" just buy two cam seals, they are the same part number. Don't forget to locktight the crank bolt, I think it's torqued to 90 ft/lbs, check the FSM, I could be wrong.
