actually, I don't.  At least nothing direct.

Which basically sucks.

Those who build conversion harnesses are a bit "close to the vest" about this 'cause they make pretty good money selling them.  Not "the average joe can't afford a harness" kind of money, but enough that they do not readily reveal how they do it.

I suppose that there is someone out there who HAS posted how he made his own conversion harness, but I haven't run across it yet...

Have you checked out Trail Tough yet?  I had a friend use them for his 1.6 swap, and he was happy with their work.  He sent them his wiring harness and they modified it so that it could basically be plugged in.  They can also modify your speedometer cluster so that it can send the speed to the computer.  You can call them if you have questions about the year of the 1.6 that you have.

x2 and I have been on every board I can find to see what is out there and they keep this one to themselves it looks like. I aint paying 3-400 bucks for them to ssend me back my wiring horness with 1/3 of the wires it left with.

That is probably the best way to do it.  It does require you to have a fair knowledge of electricity.

Otherwise, the TrailTough harness is a simple way to go.  They do the heavy lifting and you get a working harness in a short period of time.  Another benefit of Trailtough's harness might be that they will be able to tell from your harness exactly what variations that your engine has (crank sensor, etc.) and modify your harness accordingly so you don't have to.

You get what you pay for and sometimes what appears to be kind of expensive is actually pretty cheap.

(BTW, I have NO connection with TrailTough.)

This would have worked if thought of or available before the motor and wireing horness were pulled out. I drove the crap outa the little tracker iand it was a real go getter. wish it was easier to plant one of these in a zuk, cause it run like a bat outa hell !

Don
Zuk1972 ( I think thats right) at the Zu asked for and got a later model Track Kick wiring diagram from someone there.

PM him and ask if he would send it to you.

If you have a contact that has an up to date repair shop they may have a program called AllData. It has the diagrams in it and is printable.

I would say do what I did with the 8V and that is rip out all the factory stuff and just use the harness from the Doner truck, I had to make the Multifunction switch and ignition work on the Sammy column but it did not take much.
