here is a picture of my buddy andy and me upon completion (i am in orange)
the little fellow himself, with out him none of this would have been done
is it yellow enough?
some of you may remember the flag
here is a good shot of my new doors, and the seating set up.
here is a look at the new dash, we had to leave the wiper motor exposed so we can pull the windshield

Woo pig sooie!!!
Ok got that out of my system.
Nice rig. I like the dash. Where did you get the gauge cluster?
What about the front bumper and cage? Home grown or fabbed somewhere local?

I ordered the guage cluster from ebay, the guages did not work so I basically got a small shiney 68 dollar piece of aluminum, we put new guages in it.
the bumper was built by a friend in huntsville, and the cage was done with a buddy of mine in his shop. it was a lot of work reinforcing the frame to make the cage work.
thanks for the compliments.
it is the first time I have ever tried to make a rig look better.

I wasnt really going for an over the top dash, I realy wanted to keep it clean. I am adding and easy button.

the center location was mainly due to the fact we lost a lot or real estate when we replaced the dash with a more vertical peice of aluminum, after removing the heating vents we had the most room in the center.
I could tell you what it resembles but you will figure that out first time you park next to any 2 letter 1 number vehicle.

I glance down at the tach constantly. Having the display centered would be pure folly for me. But then, I'll take function over form anytime.

the dash install itself was fairly easy. we used all factory brackets, took a piece of small channel iron and mounted it across the two lower dash mounts, which are also threaded already, we did have to bend them a little, we then used a cardboard templet to notch out for the steering column, and used the top metal portion behind the windsheild to mount into. we simply used some wide jawed clamp vise gripes and pulled it down and threaded it in.
for those that wanted you could probably even use the beloved sawzall, although the plasma cutter may have been smoother.
