i need to raise my driveline at least 2" and i was wondering if any of you had experience with that?   inphobic  maybe?


im designing my bellypan and i need to be sure i can get it up 2"   hopefully more.

ive got the engine mounts covered but the other aspects are just coming together and i could use some input.

ill be having a little disassembly  get together in a couple weeks for anyone interested.

you talking about raising the t/c to flat belly the rig?  or two piecing the driveline?

mine was raised with aluminum spacers.  Didn't get a full flat belly, but close.  The mighty kong t/c cover still hangs down a tad.

Hi, I've got an '87 tin top, stock motor, 5.29gears with lincoln in the rear and lock-rite in the front. Its a nice street legal rock crawler.

That's where it's at for me.  I have to drive to the playgrounds, and none of them are close.  If it wasn't street legal, the cost of a trailer and a tow rig would be prohibitive.  Not to mention, gas, insurance, taxes, etc.

Or you could end up where Flea will be: a great street illegal rig with no trailer or tow rig.  I still think that he could flat-tow it behind his Wife's Heep.  Sorry to hijack your thread, flea.  You can split the thread if you want.

yeah  i saw your post on ZK about driving to the trails.

   i dont get my liscense back for a while yet anyway so i let others tow me.  lately just been riding along and wrenching between trips, sorta.
