Went 180 miles each way Sunday to go get this thing.
First of all it was HOT HOT HOT
Put a battery in, changed the oil and fired it up.
Purrs like a kitten, the manual choke on the Holley/Weber is a bit touchy
Ran 60 to 65 all the way home with the AC on
It needs a good cleaning and a fuel pump (decided to blow oil out and lube the under carriage.

Here it is today after I put that big black thing on the front and slapped some lights on it. Don't panic they won't stay they were all I had.

What goes in here a cooler   Hehe he threw in the bumper but kept the big honking Warn winch (cheapskate)

Other side

Here is its behind.......note the ricer wing.....PO cut it down it was a foot wider than body on both sides

I like Tin Tops as well. I had purchased and restored one, then sold it a month later.

It seems that after driving and wheeling a soft top (YJ Wrangler) for 8 years... I now feel claustrophobic in vehicles with hard tops  Dunno Doh...

Sounds as if you wheel as I do.  My last time out, a tree scraped off my snorkel.  I made it to come apart rather than break, so I just reassembled it.  It has survived two rolls as well.  It's amazing how much abuse ABS pipe will take.

I had a rag top with the 1 piece fiberglass top and liked it. I do like the TTs for the winters here.

For your area a ragtop would be more fun.

Trees are those things drunks run into and 4X4s bounce off of. Cracked Up

They are also the things that fuel forest fires. Scared

I can see why some of you don't like trees Nuts usually fall out of them. Question: Did it hurt much? Cracked Up

Sissy      Wink

Hooker I like trees, we have several million urinals here. I moved here to be in the trees/urinals. They make for good heat in the stove and make great wall studs.
