Here are a few pictures to show the transformation of my rig over the last 7 to 8 months. While there are still a few items left, its hard to believe she's come this far
When I purchased this little Sammi it looked like an abandond vehicle with little left of the interior, no top, broken windshield, dented hood, bent roll bar and targa bar and warped drivers door.
After an entire months worth of work and trips to the Salvage yard, she looked like this...

Finally Paint day had arrived...

Follwed by the detail work...

Next came the wheels and the Mall Cruiser Shackle lift...

Then winter was over and it was time to make the doors removable and open her up!

Finally, in the last two weeks Mark, Nelson and I have installed the 6" spring over lift, Fabricated and installed the rear cage and the Rock Sliders, and installed the Hi-lift and the Jerry Can!

7 months and about $6k later it's almost complete. Next on the list will be T-Case gears and a Rear locker.
A lot of folks (including my wife) say that I've obsessed over the little Sammi and spent too much money however, those who know me remember how much time and money I spent on my Wrangler and where else are you gonna find a Sammi with new paint, interior, engine, tires, lift etc., etc, etc, for that kinda money?... Hell, any kinda wheeler for that little money

They say there is a fine line between a Hobby and an obsession...
Did I cross that line?

Doesn't matter, I built it for me, I love my little Sammi, it's been a blast building it and because of it I have made some really good lifetime friends.
I would say that's a Win Win situation... wouldn't you???
