The Transformation of the RedWolf

Here are a few pictures to show the transformation of my rig over the last 7 to 8 months. While there are still a few items left, its hard to believe she's come this far
When I purchased this little Sammi it looked like an abandond vehicle with little left of the interior, no top, broken windshield, dented hood, bent roll bar and targa bar and warped drivers door.
After an entire months worth of work and trips to the Salvage yard, she looked like this...
Finally Paint day had arrived...
Follwed by the detail work...
Next came the wheels and the Mall Cruiser Shackle lift...
Then winter was over and it was time to make the doors removable and open her up!
Finally, in the last two weeks Mark, Nelson and I have installed the 6" spring over lift, Fabricated and installed the rear cage and the Rock Sliders, and installed the Hi-lift and the Jerry Can!
7 months and about $6k later it's almost complete. Next on the list will be T-Case gears and a Rear locker.
A lot of folks (including my wife) say that I've obsessed over the little Sammi and spent too much money however, those who know me remember how much time and money I spent on my Wrangler and where else are you gonna find a Sammi with new paint, interior, engine, tires, lift etc., etc, etc, for that kinda money?... Hell, any kinda wheeler for that little money
They say there is a fine line between a Hobby and an obsession...
Did I cross that line?
Doesn't matter, I built it for me, I love my little Sammi, it's been a blast building it and because of it I have made some really good lifetime friends.
I would say that's a Win Win situation... wouldn't you???

Hell no! To cross that line, you have to be buying stuff that you can do without. Have you got gears? You have to get lockers and maybe OTT before you even get close to being obsessed. You can quote me on that.

RedWolf that thing is looking sweet. What gears are you getting for the T-case?
I went with the 6.5s in mine IMO they are perfect, but it needs a rear locker .

The last 3 items on my list in order are...
T-Case gears (can't go with the 6.5's cause I need some highway speed)
Lockrite Locker
Winch
These last few items are gonna have to wait a couple of months as I have been neglecting the house
I'm happy where she's at for now and I promised my Son we'd start working on his soon!

I'm running 30" tires with my 6.5s and stock thirds 65 mph no problem.
With the 20% reduction in high it's about the same as running a 4.48 ring and pinion.

First of all... How the hell are you? Haven't heard from you in awhile! Been hangin over at ZK?
That's probably the only Zuk site I don't frequent because of a little S.O,B. that hangs there that I would love to meet up with with no witnesses around
Secondly, What's your top end with those gears?
Is 5th gear still usable?
What's the average price for those?
Anyhow... good to hear from you again!

I am good. I do hang at the ZK alot. I go to ZNation ocasionally, but that site is slow loading on my ISP.
Top end ? who knows? I have seen 62 on my speedo before, but not sure what the actual speed is.
I bought it from a guy already built for 650.
Top end in 4 low is about 20. LMAO

Thanks, however I feel it's become an obsession
Is there such a thing as Zukaholics?
I woke up last night at about 3 am and couldn't get back to sleep... I spent the rest of the night fabricating my tube doors and building jigs for them in my mind.
Houston... I think we have a problem
