want to run dual batteries with dual gauges. so i would have to have an isolator switch to keep the readings seperate, correct? going to mount them ,one each behind the seats so i can acsess them by putting seat forward. is it better to have many little wires or a few really thick wires . ? also im having problems finding a 6 volt dry cell battery? i need one so i can weld at 30v. thanks

who need a co-driver, as you can see im mounting my radiator and fan in the passenger well. anyone know what size inverter i need to run my cooling fan? Not a very big one, but your not seriously going to use a box fan are you? want to run dual batteries with dual gauges. so i would have to have an isolator switch to keep the readings seperate, correct? Do you mean gauges to monitor the batteries voltage output? If so, I think that's going to depend on how you isolate the batteries from each other.going to mount them ,one each behind the seats so i can acsess them by putting seat forward. is it better to have many little wires or a few really thick wires . ? It's better to run larger gauge wire so you have less voltage drop.also im having problems finding a 6 volt dry cell battery? i need one so i can weld at 30v. thanks

is it better to have many little wires or a few really thick wires . ? thanks While it is true that the bigger the overall gauge of wire, the better......for the individal strands of wire, within the insulation, the finer strands are better.

current travels on the outside of the wire so id say many little wires??? That is correct. By using stranded wire instead of solid wire, you create more surface area for the electrons to migrate on thus lowering the overall resistance of the wiring - or so they told me in electronics class...
