Friday August 31 and Monday Sept 3 will be travel days and time for impromptu runs.

Group runs will be scheduled for Sept 2 and 3 during the day and night. Yep, night time in Disney is even better than wheeling during the day so plan on staying up late.

There are plenty of trails for stock to as big a rig as you want to bring. This is an event designed for Suzuki owners and ZukiKrawlers members but anyone and any rig are welcome to attend.

More info can be found here: www.hogansoffroad.com . Hogans offers camping, cabin rental and a repair facility. We will try to reserve a section of the park for our event but Labor Day is a busy day for them.

There will be a raffle with prizes donated by vendors...

There will be a nominal fee ($20 or so) to attend the event which will get you a raffle ticket and a meal ticket for Sat night.  This is not designed as a money maker for the site, just enough to cover the cost of putting on the event.

The official event coordinator is Chris Denman.  He won't give out his email address, but I found his work phone number.  However, if you call him, he'll try to sell you land in Texas...

TX_ZUKI  says that Friday August 31, Saturday Sept 1,and Sunday Sept 2 will be the official days.

I plan to be there, Disney OK.  A great place to wheel.  For anyone that has not been to Disney Oklahoma,  don't be intimidated.  You can get around in a stock vehicle easily.  The nice thing about this area is that you can get around to see the challenging hardcore areas with your stock vehicle.  For those that are up to a challenge, it's there also.  Hope to see you there.

I was talking to a buddy last night who brought up a good point there is a lot of water in ok. right now?
  [scratchhead]have we looked into alternate sights for the event incase the rain does not let up?  disney is primarily a spill way for the lake, and I was told that grand lake was flooded. just wandering if there was a backup.

Hello redbeard, thanks for asking a good question. We have a few more spots just in case, I talked with some folks at Hogans Off Road, they been wheeling every weekend besides for Little Blue, he doesn't see a problem with September unless we continue to get this rain. I will keep everyone informed.

well i sort of got the weekend off.  i will be driving down on sat, wheel on sun/mon and drive back on mon/tues.  it will be me +1 possibly.  very pumped for this!  will have my tank raised and hope to have the front winch on.  waiting on my lift from Calmini..... we will see.  what is the word on a reserved camping site?

Most were tent sites.  Bring an extension cord...

The Trailer has new bearings & I hope to have the front axle on the HypnoToad back together sometime in the next 5 days.

Wheeling is good for your mental health, and you have to be there at a certain time... so it's an appointment that you have to go to, and you won't be available to work.  Yeah, that's the ticket...   

I am renting a cabin they have.I also had them reserve me a couple camper spots that I don't need now since  the other two couples backed out. I was going to call Hogans, and tell them I didn't need the spots, unless someone wants them. let me know.

    I will be coming by my self and got a large tent . Can I bring my dog? She is trained and a good rider and loves the water and love to crawl up rocks. No she does not drive...yet. Need to slide in some spot . Oh....I cook real good too. (food) Also we just had friends that got back from Disney and they said that little blue is washed up...you can go up it, but have to come back down it. Lots of water has washed some roads out. I will still be there. 

   that is so funny!!  daughter is not electric but her fan and dvd player are,  kids.....

I will try to get ahold of Hogans today. They are hard to reach sometimes. You want one, and Klug wants one. I have no idea how much they are, or wheather you can set up a tent on them. But they are both spoken for. 

I need a tent site! And I need it right in the middle of whatever's going on. I wanna help wit the chaos.

i reserved 2 r/v pads   1 for my family and whoever for elec camping and the other is for eorges rv and family.

i asked to reserve camp spots and they said no problem but i will call tommorow and get all the details.

george, we have to share one as they only got one of mine r/v sites listed.

we have 7 camping sites together close to our site.

Is there anyone around St.Louis going?  I'd love to go, but can't really afford to drive much farther than that (sucks being poor).

Yeah, I got home with my broken Zuk.  I sheared off all of the hub bolts on drivers front; I was impressed.

I Made it a 76 miles OK home myself. You come to Springdale, you got a place to stay. I have lots of room out back for about 100 rigs (to park).  Get those pictures out Flea. I had a blast and I even got Jeeped.(Hun Wayne) Rocktoberfest is next for us and I hope to see alot of you all there. And it is not to late to get those companies on the back of the shirt for a donation for a raffle prize. Red Beard can tell you how to get to the site. Thanks for the fun time.
