Anyone out there have a big 1/2" socket (50mm/2") that can be used to tighten the front wheel bearings on a Samurai?  They normally are 3/4" sockets and I am hoping that a 3/4" to 1/2" adapter would be available as I have a 1/2" torque wrench...

I suppose I can eyeball it but doing it "by the book" would be better.

I'm willing to rent it for a day or two!

I got one you can use, Ack.   I even have the 3/4" to 1/2" adapter.
I am over south of grain valley, in case you forgot, or never knew.

I bought my 2 inch socket at Tractor Supply Co. (TSC) for about 7 bucks.  A couple more for the 3/4 to 1/2 adapter.  A standard socket is not deep enough to tighten the bearing with out removing the axle.

of course you know a 2" is too big.

50 mm is the correct one.

However, I'm going to rush out is a buying frenzy   Bouncy Smile   to my nearby TSC tonight and get a 50mm unit.  Thanks all!

Actually, no.
Thanks for the reminder, though!

As soon as I get the front end back together (I got the 4.62 in!) , I'll do that.  Can't go to ZK without brakes...
