OK i have some Q: about how to set up a 1.6 I'm going to put in a 91 sami ,I'm not going to lift it at all.  i just want to keep it stock looking.  its a 91 so it has FI and i have a 1.6 8 v complete with the ecu and wire harness. i have another zuk with a 1.6 8v for wheeling. with out the FI

to answer your questions,

1.   probably not. You should consider using the engine harness with the 1.6 FI system and ECM. There may be some info on modifying the harness at zuwharrie.com.

2. You will probably have better performance with the Fuel Injection system over a Weber

3. If you do not do a lift, you will need to install the Samurai oil pan as that the oil pan will clear the front axle.  I think there is a write-up for this at izook.com or buried somewhere in the Offroad.com Geo forum.  The mod is fairly simple and involves modifying the pick-up tube.
