I have been looking around at the kracker lifts does anyone know if there is a lift for them that
keeps the wheel centered in the front wheelwell?  it seems like all the pics i see the wheel is pulled back in the wheel well. i really dont wanna remove the firewall for clearance when i lift mine.  so i would like to make the wheel go forward instead of back. i know a sas would be easier but i think i wanna stay ifs for now

I don't know much about the lifts for trackicks.  But if you need to move the wheel forward, to keep it centered in the fenderwell, you can do what they call the "hagen widening mod".  You can search for it on zukiworld.com and find out what is involved in it and how to do it.

It moves it out and forward both.  You just relocate the rear pivot point of the A-arm outward.....so by doing that the arm is shifted out slightly and forward.

i have done this mod, it does move things forward.  i dont know how much, i never messured but i cant think that it is much.  maybe a half inch?  i put some thought into doing/making something that would move the A arms down 2" and forward 1" or so.  i think it is doable but a big pain.  you would need some good fabbing equipment.

LOL, well that is a lil complex.  like i said i just thought about it and did some sketches.  flat plate about 4.5 in high the width of the a arm mounting points brackets.  bend length wise, bolt and weld, this would move the A arm mounting points down aprox. 2" and forward 1".

then you would need, drop pitman arm, 2" strut extention, a way to lower the front dif 2" lower than the calmini kit does to save on cv shafts, could cut cross brace holding dif, this is another set of issues.... just some thoughts, like i said.

If you haven't read the "hagen widening mod" article, here is a link to it.....

Oh, and it says in there that it moves each wheel 1" forward and 1" out.

Mike Hagen is great with the IFS conversions.  Funny though, so many Trackers and Sidekicks around, we just don't see alot of them out on the trail.  Doing a straight axle conversion is relatively simple when all things considered.  Calmini's lift is simple and works well.  Many have a hard time with spending that kind of money.  When you get into IFS options the fab work and parts collecting add up quick.  Someone with the ability to do the work themself can save alot on labor and fabrication. You do need to do your homework.  Many projects go unfinished becuase of problems throughout the build.  With the gearing of the Tracker/Sidekick diffs being so low limits you also.  It is a tricky problem to work out.  When is a Heep not a Heep, and when is a Suzuki not a Suzuki?
