picked up an 87 sami for the folks and need to get it running reliably
first I'll put a clutch, rear main and flywheel on it. Should be straight forward - any sami specific suprises I'll run into?
next won't idle right 400 to 2000. It has a weber carb and electric choke. Previous owner said it was the electric choke but I haven't ever messed with carb'd stuff so I'm clueless. It's gotta be pretty simple though right?
Then i'll swap the seats to ones with sliders (came with purchase). He mentioned they'd need a spacer? not sure what they're from but shouldn't be hard.
Does anyone sell hinges for removable doors? It has them cut already but the drivers is bent up and a PAIN to put back on.

You could try and go to the auto parts and ask for a manual chock cable and try it instead of the eletric choke. I bought the weber carb with a manual choke it idles like it should. My 87 samuari had a tempature choke were it opened up by the antifreezes or waters temp so I took a peice of metal line and connected the two water lines and so they just circulate into each other instead of going to the carb to open the choke.
