I know I have not been on here mutch, but man I get two emails today that sound like some srious drama has been going on. Now I know there are generally three sides to each story, so lets hope the truth comes out before we start picking sides. I hate drama so if this does not get settled I will not be back.

Yep something is afoot here.... And I am in the dark as much as the rest of you.

Just to let you all know, I get the impression sometimes that folks think that I am somehow connected to KCZuks.  This is not true.  I'm just another Samurai owner that visits KCZuks.

That said, I will make some direct inquiries and see if there is some way to put a halt to the sudden lack of decorum that currently exists behind the scenes at KCZuks.

In the meantime, It would be best to ignore the distant bellowing of elephants (it's all virtual at this point...) and continue to enjoy the comaraderie and information that is here at KCZuks.

If indeed there IS something wrong behind the scenes, it need not concern any of us.

This is a site dedicated to bringing KC Zukers together for meets and rides. It also functions as a social forum for all interested Zukers. That's ALL it is. Any drama is between those involved.

So...... anybody going on the trails or got a build they wanna showcase?

BTW: all enterprises have their growing pains. They either come out stronger or they fade away. User support can make the difference.

we cant just cut and run it seems as if a few already have the member base is slipping, hang in there people this site will work out it's problems and carry on with business as usual BE strong  like the ZUKI fans you are don't be sheep

Something is going on, but have to watch and see what it is. I have a little insight but can't really share right now

i wouldnt say people have cut and run.......  but i will frequent all zuk forums 
 

This group/forum is pretty new, so there are bound to be hiccups and disagreements.  We had similar problems when we started up Wazuks about 7 years ago.  Just stick together as a group, and let those involved work out their differences.

I agree 100%. I have run messageboards in the past, and know all to well that the water is not always smooth. Handeling it behind the scenes is the best way. The best way for us to handle it is to just keep on keepen' on.

I am not going to dip my oar into this difficulty any more.

The best thing to do at this point is to ride it out and see what happens...

WOW what did i miss here

take 5 days off to go wheeling and miss a whole plotline to a soap opera

Speaking to Phoenix this weekend, he sure was saddened by the turn of events and hopes that all will get back to normal, he had to leave the festivities a few times to go find a wifi place so he could check on this site to make sure it was running smooth for everyone.

He will have things back to normal soon.

He is the TRUE owner of this site, don't let anyone tell you other wise.

I don't recall anyone claiming that Phoenix wasn't the owner of the site.  Some people just didn't care for the way he was operating/running it.

Well I sure hope everything gets worked out, this site seems like a great place. 

I don't know where you are getting your numbers from.  No one has ever deleted themself.  One member was banned along with the three aliases that he was using.  There are about 18 people that have signed up, but have not validated their account.  One of them was the banned member trying to sign up under a different name. 

Besides, the raw numbers are deceiving.  The only number that I look at are how many check back regularly, weather they post or not.  I expect the number of posts to go down now that we've lost the entertainment, but they can still find the entertainment.  I'll just continue to work toward the goals that I started with in my "Mission Statement".
