We got snow but my Mom is in Nebraska and she got ice twice so far this year.

How about you?

We had ice.  It did not seem like much, but it was enough to leave thousands without electricity.  Tree limbs litter the land.  Curiously, the roads were mostly clear.  It was not very cold; the temp stayed close to freezing.  Today, it's a couple of degrees warmer, and the ice is melting.

About 2 weeks ago my Mom was frozen into her house. lol

they had 2 inches of ice on everything couldn't open her door

lots of ice here, broken limbs, trees broken completly off at the ground. lots with out power still. cold and more coming in tonight and tomarrow, rough weekend ahead they say. we still have power and fortunitly have not lost it here.
 I feel for those that have done without and have been cold and stuck in their homes.

it really is not bad here at all, we have power and some broken limbs but we missed the worst of this storm. the new storm that was suppose to hammer us today and saturday did not develope like they thought. now it is only a snow advisory for us. no ice tonight but still cold.
