I guess the first thing I need to do is find out how to make my pictures smaller. Every time I try to post it tells me the file size is too large.
So I am stuck just telling you of my journey thru my zuk build. Started as a hunk of crap, my kind of building material. Got the kick cheap as it needed a clutch kit and a little motor work. So after three trips to autozone to get the right clutch kit, the installation was a breeze. And a new fuel filter had it running. Was oh so thankful it was not the fuel pump as they want more for that part, than I paid for the whole car.
Next was a body lift. I had some 3 in. box tubeing laying around. So it is a 3 in. lift. Had problems right out of the gate. The bolts holding the rubber mounts to the body, were completly rusted thru where the go thru the body. 3 of the four that hold the tub to the frame.
So I cut the tubing into 4 in. peices. Drill a 3/8 hole thru one end. I bought some grade 8 bolts. Used the rubber mounts on the pieces of tubeing. Set the body back down. and I plan to weld the tubeing to the tub.
Right now I am crossing a few other hurdles. Had to extend the filler tube to the gas tank. I am going to make my steering linkage about a inch longer. MOved a brake line. Loosened the A C hose at the radiator. All pretty minor stuff.
Got a good deal on 4 american racveing wheels,Hell Cats. And 4 TSL super swampers,
36 X 12.5 X 15. With a very miminal amount out fender trimming I stuffed those fat assed tires on it.

. I think it is functional the way it is. But not practical. So I am trying to find a way to get about 2 in. of lift out of the coil springs. Plan on calling K.C. Springworks today.
The interior is all stripped out. Got some spray on bed liner and I plan to spray from the windows down with the bed liner. If I can find some aluminum diamond plate would like to make door panels out of that. Need to extend the shifter handles. Get a good radio and speakers,Got to have my tunes

We will just see. How it ends up. Could use some advise on getting the lift out of those springs.
Thanks
Kelly
