This is the buildup of zeke.  He's a grey 88 tintop, had a springover when I got him.

Zeke was abused before I got him.  Smuz can attest to how fubar he was...  I had bout 2 inches of mud to clean out of him when I got him, and everything was pretty pieced together.
He had almost no oil pressure and had a pretty bad knock. But he ran.  $825

This is next to my trooper which was my first 4x4

Tested the flex

the rear axle was chewed up and sounded like a big bus.  lol

new rear axle  thanks meanbob

all back together

interior

Favorite poser shots

springs had an s curve from being beat on too much from previous owner so I got some springs from smuz and he helped out with the lift.  increased arch makes them about 3" taller

Front on  I'm 5'9"

all on

Rockpile with a short friend...

after getting to cally I had enough for the next steps.
new tires so he doesn't look so funny 33" BFG MTR on black rims

Dogbone shackes so I'm not scared of them breaking.  shocks are a bit short in the rear so it doesn't flex right yet.

now for the new motor.  block and head from a 91 sammy.  new rods, pistons, rockers, isky cam, new seals and bearings.

old motor coming out

new motor and sidekick power steering

Trail tough pully so I don't have to change to much for the power steering

OTT steering, I can finaly turn all the way to the right  Party Dance Happydance

motor is complete and running.  Thanks smuz for the trouble shooting on the 180 out on the dizzy.

all but the last few pieces

Zeke's finaly home after 2 weeks at the hobby shop.  And has oil pressure for the first time since I've had him.

Thank you to everyone who helped me on my numerous posts getting this project done.
power steering and over the top linkages are a definant must for any big lift!

Thanks all you guys!!

Glad to see that thing going again. Good work, it's looking great.

The above is my opinion. It is subject (like all my opinions) to debate, disagreement, rude gestures, and loud raspberries.

Looking good. What backspacing did you get on those rims?

The rims are 2.5 in backspacing.  I don't rub on the springs.  I did have to cut the bumper at an angle and remove the ends so the tire wouldn't rub on that.
