Unofficial group shot:

Smuz stole the show with the only LJ10 to ever wheel at ZookiMelt.

The "Attica Family Campground" is the worst excuse for a campground that I have ever seen.  This seething pit of humanity and machines has fences to separate you from any trees.  Smuz and I stayed with Redbeard and other civilized people at "Steam Corners", about 15 miles away where we had old-growth trees shading our tents all day long...

Here is the Smuz mobile with his LJ10 on the bed of his pickup and my Sammi in tow:

This was the first time I ever went anywhere without driving.  I kept feeling like I needed to check my oil when we got there.

These girls ran over to help Smuz with his tent:

Now, there is one lucky man...

After coming all the way from Misissippi, this dude broke a whole list of stuff and was up half the night fixing stuff:

I had a great time with my little LJ. The clutch was slipping, so I didn't get to wheel much, but I didn't have time to wheel much. Every time I stopped that thing there was a crowd around it wanting to see it and talk about it. It was more of a "show and tell" than it was a wheeling trip. I loved it.

The trip was uneventful except for blowing the tread off of a trailer tire on the way home. A 20 minute tire change and we were back on the road. No biggie, I had two spares.

Looking forward to next year.
